This Week In Lansing
Mayor Patty Eidam's Message
On behalf of all residents, staff and members of the Board, I extend to you a very warm welcome to the Village of Lansing. We offer a diverse array of activities, events and locations for your enjoyment. Take a leisurely walk down our Ridge Road area and shop at the many unique stores we have or visit our many productive businesses on Torrence Avenue with easy access to the I-80/94 expressway. When it’s time to eat, enjoy a delicious meal at one of our fine restaurants or dining establishments throughout the Village.
A variety of historic and other entertainment venues within and around the Village provide a way for residents and visitors alike to take a break from the hustle and bustle of life. One of our most notable is the Lansing Municipal Airport which continues to proudly host the Historic Ford Hangar and is also the home of the striking military-aviation themed Lansing Veterans Memorial, the site of several events each year that pay tribute to the men and women who have proudly served our country.
Are you looking for a location to start or relocate your business? Contact our knowledgeable Economic Development staff and find out why the Village of Lansing is the place for you. Once you visit, we feel certain you will want to stay. Our schools, churches, public library, parks, sports and senior facilities are exceptional and provide opportunities for our residents to interact with each other in a positive and healthy fashion. Simply put, the Village of Lansing is an ideal place to raise a family or spend your retirement years.
Come visit Lansing—since 1893, a proud Illinois community!
